HOW IT WORKS
PICK THE DATE AND MESSAGE
Fill out our request for rental form with your event date and custom message. Submit it to us to see if we are available on your event day with the items needed for your sign!
CONFIRMATION
Within 24-36 hours we will confirm with you by email that we are available on your event day!
INVOICE/PAY
We then send you a confirmation of your order and an invoice by email. You pay your online invoice to secure your spot!
WATER YOUR YARD & PICKUP POO
If your sign is outdoors, it is super helpful if you water your yard from April-October where the sign will be installed. A wet yard helps us quickly set up your sign for your surprise! If you have dogs, please pick up the poo before we arrive.
WE INSTALL YOUR SIGN
We do all of the work for you! The sign will go up after DARK the night before your event!
WE TAKE IT ALL DOWN
Starting after 7pm the night of your event, we will be back to pick up the sign! You don't need to do a thing, except CELEBRATE!
WATER YOUR LAWN & PICK UP POO
Unless we have had a downpour within 24 hours of your event, from April to October we ask that you water your yard 24 hours in advance and on the day of the sign installation to help allow us to secure our signs into the rocky, very dry, hard soil.
It is not pleasant to try and set up in a poo graveyard nor is it fun for the recipient to step in poo while you are trying to take pictures.
Please, please, please pick up the poo.

Rental Info & PRICING
Prices includes a daily rental of a single phrase and name greeting, delivery, set up and pick up.
We typically set up the evening before after dark. If you are planning this as a morning surprise, please let us know in advance. We may be able to schedule you for a later set-up time or you can request our Ninja options below to solidify the time of set up. Times are scheduled on a first come, first serve basis.

Deliveries take approximately 20-45 minutes depending on ground quality and the sign you choose to order. Take down takes roughly 10 minutes.
Prices below do not include tax.

Rental Price
Prices start at + $95 for a celebration set-up. (Happy Birthday Emma, Congrats Shawn, Father's Day, Mother's Day etc. )

Add-Ons
+ $25 per Mega number, Mega Margarita, Stork, Mega Flower, Mega Grad Cap (Click here to see MEGA's in our signs! Think of using these for major celebrations as each number/graphic is 3ft tall or wide!)
+ $25 for Mega Frame rental with a greeting
+ $20 per additional name (twins, multiple birthday celebration)
+ $35 for extra phrases or a custom word display (ex. Nifty, Nifty, Christian is 50 or Oh Lordy, Lisa is 40!)
+ $50 for additional days (If the sign is available. *Excludes Graduations. Each Additional Day for Graduation is invoiced at the regular rental rate.)
+ $25 Super Ninja. This confirms that you are last on our list for the night and will have the best chance of a morning surprise!

*All graphics, stars and balloons are included in the price. If we have it available and you request it, we will use it in your sign!

Outside of Rental Fees
​
+ $5-15 Distance Fee may apply depending on location of sign
+$35 Rush Fee for orders placed within 24 hours of setup.
+ $50 Outside Service Area
+ $50 Fee for moving any of our signs including our company ad sign, after we have set up the display due to liability, damage and integrity of the design implemented by a non-employee of Sign Gypsies.
+ $100 for mowing around the signs while they are installed

Military/First Responder Discount!
If you are military, police or firefighter, please let us know and you will receive 10% off of your rental!

**Please remember that we are a rental company and we continue to monitor and check everyone of our signs for wear and tear. Just like the rental of a bouncy house, some of our more popular graphics will experience use and you may see a ding, scratch or a minor fix upon close inspection. This is normal. We do our best to maintain our graphics/signs to the highest quality to save you money and to prevent unnecessary waste into our landfills for a tiny cosmetic flaw. This does not effect the nature of the sign nor the ability to still take amazing photos and surprise a friend or loved one. Just the nature of a rental.
